Surah Al-Anfal

Iman increases when revelation is obeyed

إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ وَجِلَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَإِذَا تُلِيَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُهُ زَادَتْهُمْ إِيمَانًا

The believers are only those who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts tremble, and when His verses are recited to them, it increases them in faith.
(Surah Al-Anfal 8:2 – Sahih International)

Surah Al-Anfal reminds us that iman does not grow through inspiration alone. It grows when the heart responds to the words of Allah with reverence and obedience.

True faith shows itself in sensitivity of the heart. When Allah is mentioned, the heart is humbled. When His ayahs are recited, iman increases. The Qur’an is not meant only to be heard, but to be followed.

Iman grows when revelation reaches the heart
and obedience follows in action.

Habit – 8
Acted upon one clear instruction from the Qur’an today,
without delay or excuse.

A responsive heart,
a sincere step,
and iman strengthened through obedience.
