Author: Imām al-Qāsim ibn Fīrruh al-Shāṭibī

Description:

This is a comprehensive, long-term study of the Shāṭibiyyah, the foundational poetic text of the Seven Canonical Qirāʾāt. The course is designed to be studied slowly, deeply, and systematically, following the traditional scholarly approach used by generations of Qur’ān teachers.

The poem is divided into its two major scholarly sections:

  • Uṣūl al-Qirāʾāt (Principles of Recitation)

  • Farsh al-Ḥurūf (Word-by-Word Variations in the Qur’ān)

Rather than rushing through memorization, students will study each verse with explanation, context, symbols, and practical application, ensuring firm understanding and readiness for advanced Qirāʾāt studies.
